Japanese Indigo – Persicaria

Type: Annual
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Water: Prefers moist, well-drained soil; regular watering is essential
Transplanting: Transplant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, spacing plants 6 – 8 inches apart.
Options available: Plugs or 2.5-inch plantable pots available

Note: Harvest leaves just before flowering for optimal dye extraction. Multiple harvests are possible in a single growing season.
